92–1200mm Ultra Long-Range HD Cooled Thermal Camera

This Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) thermal camera uses a 10μm X-Hot sensor with a high definition resolution of 1280×1024, detecting infrared wavelengths from 3,000nm–5,000nm where terrestrial temperature targets emit most of their infrared energy. Using real-time image enhancements and a very precise thermal sensitivity of 0.025°C, this system is capable of detecting vehicles up to 50km away*, with a horizontal field of view as small as 0.61°.

Our X-Hot cooled thermal sensors are a revolutionary technology based on a superlattice design which runs at significantly higher temperatures than InSb and MCT, greatly reducing the workload of the cryogenic cooler. This extends cooler lifetime and minimizes required maintenance. Its advanced DICE (Dynamic Image Contrast Enhancement) processing, defective pixel replacement, gaussian noise reduction filter, and automatic gain control (AGC) come together to create an optimized image with maximum clarity and contrast.

While thermal is a significant investment, its superior range and performance allows it to significantly outperform other solutions for detecting long-range threats, making it a viable option for many applications.

MWIR HD Cooled Thermal Imager 

This high sensitivity 10μm X-Hot cooled thermal sensor with a high definition resolution of 1280×1024 and an ultra-long cooler lifetime of 20,000+ hours. The cooled sensor is able to detect differences in temperature as small as ±0.025°C, providing more detail for tracking of targets at extreme ranges in total darkness and through most obscurants, with performance on par with many competitor’s cooled thermal systems at 1800mm.

13X Continuous Zoom Lens

The X-Hot thermal core is paired with a precision-engineered ƒ4.0 germanium zoom lens has a 13X optical zoom range from 92mm to 1200mm. The large diameter f/4.0 lens collects nearly twice as much thermal energy as a smaller f/5.5 lens. This allows for incredible long-range detection performance by offering anything from a 7.9° to 0.61° HD field of view, and a resolution of 2.4ppm at 50km. These lenses also feature auto focus capabilities, delivering crisp, clear images even when adjusting zoom, ensuring optimal performance and situational awareness in the wide field of view and crisp details in the narrow field of view.
