What is PTZ?

Pan Tilt Zoom a device that can be remotely controlled to provide both vertical and horizontal movement for a camera, with zoom. This is a movable mechanical base for a camera. PTZ Cameras are used to actively search a wide area up to 360 degrees and zoom in to a point of interest. Panning is a left-right movement. Tilting is up and down. Zooming in or out is the same as decreasing or increasing the field of view.
