2050mm Ultra Long-Range Visible/NIR 8MP Camera

Designed and optimized with extreme long-range surveillance in mind, the 2050mm telescopic camera is our longest-range camera module. Intended to be paired with a wider zoom camera for simultaneous situational awareness, this non-zoom camera offers an extremely narrow FOV and achieves the most available detail on targets with double the PPM of our longest-range zoom option.

Visible/NIR HD Sensor

The sensor boasts excellent spectral sensitivity for both visible and NIR wavelengths and features a motorized NIR filter (visible cut filter), making it a true day/night camera providing clear color images by day and black and white images at night. The 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor features a 4K/8MP resolution of 3840×2160 and a fantastic signal to noise ratio of 55dB. The 1/1.8" sensor’s low light sensitivity allows for great detail with the lower light levels that are an unavoidable reality with long-range lenses, and the smaller size of the sensor maximizes the long-range capabilities of this lens.

Image Enhancement

The sensor also integrates real-time image processing technology such as WDR, BLC, HLC, EIS, 3D DNR, etc. Each of these image enhancements can be automatic or user-defined and calibrated based on the application requirements, allowing users to achieve the best image quality possible in various applications with minimal operator intervention.

Ultra Long-Range 2050mm Lens

The 2050mm mirrored telescope lens offers an extremely narrow 0.21° FOV when paired with the 1/1.8" sensor. That's equivalent to a “full-frame” DSLR camera using a 9600mm lens.

DORI Ratings

The DORI standard (based on the IEC EN62676-4: 2015 International Standard) defines different levels of detail for Detection (25PPM), Observation (62PPM), Recognition (125PPM), and Identification (250PPM). By using these PPM values, it is possible to select a specific camera sensor/lens combination and verify that it will provide the performance needed in each application. Please note that these ratings do not take atmospheric distortion into account, which is amplified at long distances.
